Hagen is an independent graphic artist,

and here you will find a collection of his designs and works.

These can be diveded into three fields:

textiles, graphics and books.

The design work lately concentrated on usable articles like: t-shirts and casual clothes, bags, cups, accessories and home decoration.

"As a graphic designer, what should be my mission? When I walk the streets, I see quite many dull, nerdy, uninspired prints on people´s clothes. Of course, many people are satisfied when it´s comfortable to wear. But, why missing the opportunity of expressing yourself by a unique image or statement. I mean: yourself, not some company, not some other person´s interests. Maybe, by making some better designs available, by offering messages which might be concordant to your convictions, something might change."

"My ideal is a design which gets people into talking: somebody adressing another because they like, had to smile or were bewildered by the message on one´s gear."
